Ever Wanted To Be On TV?

AFRICAN AMERICANS NEEDED FOR TV SERIES – ASSISTANCE REQUESTED WILL PAY
My name is Tina Kerr and I am the Extras Casting Director for two television series (NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” and FOX’s “The Good Guys”) which are currently filming in the Austin and Dallas areas.
On both projects we would like to have a better representation of the African American community, but do not have a lot of people in our talent pool who fit that demographic. We are looking for African American Men, Women and Children – ALL Ages, NO experience necessary!
In addition to the general extra types (neighbors, football fans, high school students, restaurant customers, etc) that we will be using, we are also in need of others with the following special skills – football players, basketball players, barbers, police officers, business men and women with professional attire, precision drivers, paramedic/EMT’s, firefighters and many other skills.

Extras do get paid and rates vary by location/project. In Austin for “Friday Night Lights” the rate is $7.25 per hour with an 8 hour guarantee of $58.00 plus time and 1/2 after 8 hours.  In Dallas  for “The Good Guys” the rate is $8.00 per hour with an 8 hour guarantee of $64.00 plus time and 1/2 after 8 hours. Meals are generally always provided and it can be a fun, new experience to work in television & meet new people. Work days can average anywhere from 4-14 hours per day and filming is usually done during the week with weekends off.
I need all the help I can get in getting the word out to the African American communities in both areas and hope you are able to help with this. Please help us out by letting all of your contacts know about this opportunity and/or reposting this notice on your networking sites.
Anyone who is interested in working with us should visit our website at http://www.onlocationcasting.net and complete a Talent Application. They will need to upload 1-2 photos of themselves and input some personal information. It is FREE to be in out talent database, so notifications to input credit card information or pay for ‘active’ upgrades can be disregarded. It is OPTIONAL to pay for the upgrades and we do not require any form of payment to work with us on our shows.
If you have further questions, please feel free to either call us at 512-707-7934 or email us at: onlocationcasting@yahoo.com
We will also be booking other extras from different ethnic groups for both of these projects, so EVERYONE is welcome to sign up to work with us as an extra!!

Everyone claims to be a “boot camp” or to be the “original”!  Truth is boot camps originated from the toughest branch of the arm forces, the US Marine Corps, Semper Fi!

Out Right Fitness started out providing personal training to elite athletes only.  Then  in 2008 we started boot camps and never looked back!  We decided to offer boot  camps to the public in addition to personal training because we realized with the  economic state of the community and many can’t afford the costs associated with  exclusive one-on-one personal training.

We have a non-militant training style and promote a fun and fitness effective  environment!!!!  We get results, but you have to meet us halfway by making a  commitment in your heart!  We’ll meet you half way and even go the extra step to  ensure you have the proper tools and resources necessary to reach and maintain  your fitness goals.
