Accounting, Finance or Information Systems Major Scholarship: Due April 1

Accountemps is proud to partner with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ( to provide $2,500 scholarships to five (5) outstanding students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.

The scholarships will be awarded based on outstanding academic achievement, leadership activities and future career interests. To be eligible, you must be:

  • An AICPA student affiliate member
  • A declared accounting, finance or information systems major with an overall and major GPA of at least 3.0
  • A student who has satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours (or equivalent), including at least six (6) semester hours in accounting
  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent), at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Study Abroad Funding Information Session: April 1

The study abroad community on campus will begin hosting information sessions for students focusing on funding study abroad programs.  The sessions will run throughout the spring semester and will cover:

·    Getting tips on how to plan ahead and find the best funding options.

·    Learning about the three primary areas of funding for study abroad.

·    Learning strategies to help you gauge the “real cost” of study abroad.

·    Discovering how to be an active participant in finding the best funding.
