The Equal Opportunity in Engineering (EOE) Program at The University of Texas at Austin will host “Longhorn Engineering: The Power to Shape Your World” on Friday, August 6, 2010. Longhorn Engineering is a free, 1-day campus visit open to high school seniors interested in learning how engineering is shaping our world and bringing ideas to life. African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students, as well as those who have overcome social or economic hardship, are encouraged to participate. Longhorn Engineering is open to all students interested in engineering, math, and science.
